What we collect

We collect only what your classes and account need, by category:

  • Identity & contact: name, email, WhatsApp number, optional city.
  • Account & auth: password hash or Google sign-in identifier.
  • Practice activity: classes attended, sadhana streaks, journal entries, saved shlokas.
  • Guruji conversations: your questions and our AI's replies, to give you continuity.
  • Payment metadata: plan, amount, and Razorpay transaction id (we never store card or bank details).
  • Device & usage: basic analytics (pages viewed, approximate region) to keep the app working.
Why

Why we use it

To send your daily live-class reminders, run your 14-day practice, process payments, and keep your account secure. We process data on the basis of your consent and the legitimate need to deliver this service.

WhatsApp consent

WhatsApp consent

Submitting the join form or logging in counts as opting in to receive WhatsApp messages from DhyanHQ, mainly class reminders and practice nudges. Reply STOP (or the Hindi word "band") any time to stop all messages.

Who we share with

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We share only what is necessary with trusted service providers (data processors) that help us run the service:

  • Razorpay: to process payments and subscriptions (payment data).
  • Resend: to send account and transactional emails (email, name).
  • Anthropic: to power Guruji's AI replies (your questions; sent for processing, not used to train their models under our API terms).
  • Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): to send WhatsApp messages and reminders (name, WhatsApp number).
  • 100ms: to run live video classes (display name, session connection data).
  • PostHog: for privacy-respecting product analytics (usage events, approximate region).

Some providers may store data outside India; where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
